In 2009, Big Paws will be based out of Ash Trail Lodge on the Ash River. The Ash River is considered the gateway to Namakan, Kabetogama and Rainy Lake. Morning anglers will enjoy some of the best walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike and crappie fishing available. The lake system features rugged shorelines, calm bays, sandy beaches, rock bluffs and rustic islands. Beautiful log cabins with a full service restaurant and bar are all included in your stay with Big Paws. We have selected this location because it is conveniently located in the core of our hunting area.
